My name is Kaleo Nakoa, and I am running for Honolulu City Council District 4, East of Ala Moana to Makapu'u. I'm a retired US Coast Guard Veteran with 20 years of Honorable Service. My wife has almost 18 years in the US Coast Guard and plans to retire when she reaches her 20 years of service. I have a 17-year-old son from a previous marriage who graduated from Lahainaluna High School at the age of 16 during the pandemic. Which he pursued on his own. My current wife and I have 3 kids who all attend an International Baccalaureate elementary school.
